Stevia would be a better sugar substitute than Splenda. All of the synthetic sugar substitutes have been linked to cancer. I really urge everyone using artifical sweeters to find some Stevia at your local health food store. Stevia is a natual food from an actual plant that is much sweeter than sugar. It is great for low carbers, diabetics, and those cutting calories. It has no carbs, calories, and will not raise your blood sugar.

Nicely done and answers alot of questions as I'm ten weeks into the Atkins diet and need all the ideas I can get. Hey, how do you get over the constipation problem...No joke, its the worst side effect of Atkins. Thanks again
